U Hill 中学答谢早餐

接PAC通知，原订计划的答谢早餐因罢工取消了，但无论目前情况怎么样，对老师学校的努力付出，我们表示感谢。

According to PAC announcement, the originally planned Teacher and Staff Appreciation breakfast has been cancelled due to the teachers strike. However, no matter what happens, we should show support for the teachers' contributions and we thank them for their efforts in the past years.

原计划内容如下：

教职员工感谢早餐会----需要义工！

6月25日周三，将举办教职员工感谢早餐社交会。快来加入我们吧！

为了对一年以来全校所有员工的奉献和辛勤工作表示感谢，上午9点开始，请家长们和学校工作人员一起共进简单的早餐。

跟往常一样，我们将提供一些烘焙食品和清淡的开胃菜。您可以带来任何食物，例如，松饼、甜品、果盘或果汁（PAC会从Blenz购买咖啡)。

请您于上午7:30至9:00之间把您捐赠的食物带到员工办公室（主办公室）。

现需要如下义工：

早上布置：（5位家长，上午7:00至9:00）摆放桌布、鲜花、杯子、餐勺、盘子等，接收食物，并把食物摆放漂亮。

清理人员：（5位家长）（下午1:00至2:00）清洗餐具，并将食品打包起来放入冰箱。

2014/2015 PAC主席等职位大选

各位UHill中学家长/监护人，你们好!

5月28日，UHill中学PAC（家长执行委员会简称）会议将举行“2014/2015 PAC主席等职位选”，选举出的PAC执行委员会成员将在未来的一个学年度一起致力于组织PAC例会和PAC的日常工作。

公开竞选的职位包括：

•主席和副主席（或联合主席）

•财务

•联合秘书（英语及普通话）

会议上还可提出增加其他职位，如募款會主席或各年级家長代表。

本次会议将于5月28日（周三）晚上7点在UHill中学的图书馆举行。

我们鼓励所有的家长都来参会，即使你不是作为竞选者。因为人越多，竞选过程会越好。
这也是一个认识其他的家长的好机会；UHill中学校长史蒂芬卡梅伦和学生会代表亦将出席。希望更多的华人家长积极参会，您的参与程度决定我们未来一年能在学校各项事务上发出多大的声音，集思廣意，为我们的孩子构建一个更为积极、和谐、有效的教育环境。

Hello UHill Parents/Guardians,

At the next UHill Secondary PAC meeting (May 28), we will be holding elections for the 2014/2015 PAC Executive. Elected PAC executives work together between general PAC meetings to organize and carry out the day-to-day work of the PAC.

The positions open for election are:

• Chair and Vice-Chair (or Co-Chairs)

• Treasurer

• Co-Secretaries (English and Mandarin)

Other positions can be added at the meeting. Some suggestions are a Fundraising Chair or Parent Representatives from each grade.
The PAC meeting is on Wednesday, May 28 at 7 pm in UHill Secondary’s library.
We encourage all parents to come to this meeting–even if you don’t want to be on the executive. The more people we have at the meeting, the better the election process will be.
This is also a great opportunity to meet other parents; Steven Cameron, UHill’s principal; and Student Council representatives.

If you are interested in joining the PAC Executive, please be prepared to speak briefly about what you would bring to the role.

UHill 中學中文家長募款捐款團購義賣 報告 2014年二月～四月止

Dear Uhill Sec Parents,

親愛的 Uhill 中學家長們，

The 2013-2014 school year was an exciting and busy one at Uhill Sec School. Since the foundation of Chinese Parents Club last November, 2013, our Chinese parents have contributed a lot of energy and enthusiasm to our students and school.

這個2013~2014 學年在UHill 中學是非常興奮忙碌的，自從中文家長聯誼會在2013年11月建立，我們中文家長們貢獻了心力、勞力及熱情給我們的學校孩子們。

During the past 3 months (included 2 weeks spring break), the UHill Sec Chinese parents had good experience of the team work and hold many successful events in the limited time . Here is the result of our fund-raising efforts in this report.

在過去的三個月（包含兩週的春假）Uhill 中學中文家長們有了非常愉快的團隊合作經驗及在有限的時間內完成了成功的活動！以下是我們中文家長們的款項報告： 感謝大家在有限的短短的三個月不到的時間，積極努力奉獻，每一分錢都是愛心，都是有貢獻的。

We need you to continue to support our children’s love of learning and school. The Uhill Sec CPC needs more parent volunteers to serve on the Board, to provide good ideas, and to hold the events.

It is a great way to get involved and to meet other families in the school community. And any amount of time given is helpful and greatly appreciated.
