参加周未罗宾(Lord Byng Secondary School)义卖市场

各位UHill中学家长，为参加周六罗宾义卖，我们会在本周五早上再组织一次义卖物品收集，到时会有义工家长分别在两个主要学校入口进行收集工作，以方便周六无法送到义卖现场的家长将义卖物品统一集合，义卖物品可以是新的，也可以是旧的，只要您觉得义卖的物品有继续再使用的价值，家长们都可以捐赠出来，奉献一点爱心，义卖款项部分捐给罗宾学校，大部分我们会捐给UHill中学。所有捐赠物品欢迎家长们提供义卖价格！谢谢家长们的热情参与！
特别我们欢迎UHILL中学学生参加义卖活动，可以计算义工时间。欢迎报名参加。
最后，周六现场我们还将继续提供收集服务，你们也可以在当天送物品过来，请将您送来的物品交给当天在现场的义工家长，请认清有UHill学校标志租好义卖的桌子，并欢迎大家参加活动，淘到你们喜欢的宝贝！

Uhill Secondary Chinese Parent Club is participating in Lord Byng Spring Community Market this Sat Apr 12, 2014 (10am-2pm)

We are accepting items such as books, toys, electronics, clothing, household goods, sport equipment, jewellery, crafts and desserts for resale at the Community Market.

If you would like to donate any items, please bring them to Uhill Secondary school food court from 8:20-9am on April 12 (Friday).

Profits earned from the sale will go towards Uhill Secondary funds.

On Dec 5, 2013, a Uhill Secondary student was hit by a car at mid block
crossing on 16th Ave, on the way to school.  Fortunately the student is not injured.
2013年12月5日，一個UHill 中學的學生在上學途中過馬路時，在16街中間路段被車撞到。幸好沒有受傷。

The speed limit between the 2 roundabouts in front of UhillS is 50km/h (not 30km/h).
If you walk between the 2 roundabouts, you will see that the 50km/h sign is up and getting ready to be turned to the road.
UHill中學前兩個迴轉圈中間的行車速限是時速50公里。 如果你走到兩個迴轉圈，你會看到豎立的50公里速限標誌，然後準備迴轉。

UBC is in the process of updating and replacing their 2005 Strategic Transportation Plan

Uhill Secondary PAC is pushing UBC to 
-change the speed limit on 16th Ave (in front of our school) to 30km
- pedestrian controlled "red light" at the crossings

Your feedback has helped us identify opportunities to better address how we get around on campus, and draft a Transportation Plan for the Vancouver campus that will update and replace UBC’s 2005 Strategic Transportation Plan. Please join us at one of our upcoming public open houses to learn more and offer your thoughts and ideas about the draft Transportation Plan.
