UHill PAC work
with Maria Boulil who is an educational
consultant, will organize a workshop
for our parents. We would like to invite you and your children to come to the workshop.

40% of the ticket sales would go back to the PAC as fundraising.

parents where they can buy tickets for the workshop online. Parents also can buy
tickets at the door on Wednesday October 21,
2015 from 6:30 pm.

Post-Secondary Planning – A Detailed Look at
Options and Admission
Requirements
Making decisions on
what to do after graduation, what program of study to pursue, or what career
path to aim towards, can be stressful and confusing. There are a multitude of
choices and pathways. Entry into programs is highly competitive. Students
need to be strategic in their decisions, and in order to stand out…but what
does this look like? The workshop will provide suggestions on
how students can leverage their strengths and be strategic! It will
also offer an overview of post-secondary options, admission
requirements, and will walk through what to consider and how to
approach these difficult decisions.

Maria is an educational
consultant and founder of iSolve Consulting, providing academic
advising, student success coaching, and parent support resources. Prior to
this, she worked for over 15 years as an Educational Consultant, in Secondary
and Higher Education for a large multi-national educational development
company. This experience gave her a unique inside track to secondary and
post-secondary programs and courses. Maria specializes in working with students
to help them identify their interests, understand program options, and
create a strategic plan for their future. Maria has also completed
extensive training in Mediation giving her experience with addressing difficult
conversations, managing relationships, conflict support, and constructing
agreements. She is also the mother of two teenage boys and understands firsthand
the pressures and challenges they face, as well as the complexities of the
parent/ adolescent relationship.
